This weekend, I visited one of my besties, who is currently in a show in Lancaster, PA. Lancaster is about an hour away from Philadelphia. The town has a couple of colleges nearby, but I've always thought of it as a small town. Just google'd the population in Lancaster and it's 500,000 - perception and reality are two totally different things!

I like to call myself a "big city girl", however my brief time in Lancaster left me wanting to know more about the "little" town. They had a cute downtown section including a central market with tons of local organic food, a fair trade coffee house, AND the houses were brownstone-style. SCREAMING LOVE! We had a blast hanging, talking and such, as is evident in my last picture. There will be at least one Lancaster event mentioned in my "Smile" post this week!

  3. Monique! I'm so happy to find you again. I loved reading your blog and then lost it in the hustle and bustle. I'm adding it to my RSS feed. Anyway, CONGRATS on the baby. Huge news. you look amazing. I tried to stay fashionable throughout my pregnancies which got a little trying toward the end. Anyway, I also just wanted to let you know that I was veg all throughout my pregnancies and nursing and did totally fine. Never anemic, plenty of energy, healthy babies, right amount of weight gain, etc. Go girl!

  4. Wow, you look really great in these shots. There is such positive energy radiating through them. Great ensemble by the way! Don't ask me why I just used that word "ensemble," somehow just seemed fitting, hehehe...

    Peace and Love,

  8. @ mangomadness - Thank you! This is a twist out. I did the twists on dry, stretched hair :)
