"Color Blocking"

Top - Anthro; Cardigan - Anthro (2008); Jeggings - Gap Maternity; Boots - Aldo; Necklace - Etsy; Earrings - Anthro (and borrowed from mom); Lips - MAC (Satin)

I'm using the term "color blocking" very loosely for this outfit. I'm not sure if the "official rules" for "color blocking" don't include patterns/prints. Thus, I kept quotes around the term to make sure I'm not breaking any rules. See how easy that was? Add quotations, and I make a farce totally legit...if only that worked on other things in real life. On another random note - I've never paired these two items together, but I really like the contrast. The additional pop of turquoise really added a lovely touch to this whole color palette look.

PS - These are the only maternity pants I have purchased and liked. I won't be buying anymore. You probably won't ever see the other 3 because I save them for work, which requires pants. I dread wearing them every day.

  4. You can remove the quotes because you have officially did a color block look! Lol. Plus you look wonderful and I'm definitely going to need a tutorial for that hairstyle! ;)
