When I was a little girl, one of my aunt's friends illustrated and authored a book titled, Sundance. She gave it to me as a gift. I remember the book had lots of color, beautiful images and a pretty decent storyline too. This dress reminds me of Sundance, with all of the lively colors, and I feel like I should be dancing in it! I started to do a little dance during the photo shoot. I was free and feeling it in the first picture, then I realized people were laughing at me in the last picture. So I was awkward.
This is such a beautiful fabric on this dress. I love the flow and the edgings on the bottom tiers. Girl, you've been the brave one all along, taking pictures out and about. Let 'em laugh. Remember how we would say back in the day, "They're just jealous." :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Necklace is right up my steet!
ReplyDeleteHair - Are you still locking?
@ Libby - thank you!
ReplyDelete@ Jc - It doesn't look like it in this pic, right? I realized I need to wash my hair weekly, I didn't want to re-twist, so I just styled my twists with some flat twists in the front, and put the back in a bun. The original twists are still there though! :)
That dress is so fun! The colors make me think of popsicles--perfect for summer.
ReplyDeleteAwwww...you look so pretty Monique. I love the dancing pics now you need a beautiful island to twirl around on. The dress is beautiful and the print is lovely!! :)
ReplyDeleteKeep dancing!
Oh, you look so pretty.
