I have to be honest in this outfit post. Lately, I feel like I either look HUGE - minus my chicken legs - or like I look like a HOOCH, due to the length of my dresses. It's funny, because I always thought I had long legs growing up, however they seem to have disappeared. Now, my legs are appearing to be extra long with this growing belly of mine. I think I keep forgetting that non-maternity dresses WILL be shorter in the front. When I look in the mirror and leave the house - the length is fine. Then, I see my pictures and it's like, "WHOA MOMMA - who are you trying to impress?" Basically, I'm very self-conscious when I go out now, and I feel like I look crazy, and I've shared this with friends.
Maybe it's just me and my crazy pregnant mind. However, I must keep it real and just let you all know how I've been feeling. Or maybe, I just have to get accustomed to this new body. I mean, it's hard to properly dress triple D's, chicken legs, and a
PS - Ya'll would let me know if I look crazy right? If not, let me open the door to honest constructive criticism and tell you: PLEASE let me know if I look crazy. Mmkay - thanks!
I think you look super cute!!! I've been taking style notes preparing for the pregnancy I predict will happen within the next year or so lol
ReplyDeleteYou do NOT look ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I'm late to the party here but Congratulations! I also think that Stacy and Clinton would support you flaunting the belly, it is beautiful.
Also, I love this dress and want to steal it.
you look beautiful! Especially in those colors, you're owning this pregnancy with these outfits, WERK!!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is a win! I love the combination of the colors. Also, I love your hairstyle! Low maintenance gorgeousness :-)
ReplyDeleteAwwww...you look beautiful and those colors look wonderful on your glowing skin. I'm definitely taking notes for my future pregnancy. Go Hot Momma To Be!! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG. Congratulations, Momma-to-be!! :o) You look super FABULOUS from head to toe. I'm so digging the twist updo too.
ReplyDeleteHey everyone - thanks for the reassurance, makes me feel a lot better, and a little less crazy :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You look absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think you look fantastic here. If it had been summer/spring during my last pregnancy I wouldve tried some of these. I love this one so much, I'm gonna find a way to replicate it for the non pregnant me! Rock on!
ReplyDeleteI love your use of color!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this look and you've given me inspiration with how to wear a new pair of boots I just got in this color. That said (and since you opened the floodgates), I was throwing MAJOR side-eye to yesterday's look. The ruffle shirt and pearls and them too-big glasses were all just TOO MUCH. I like you in more pared-down looks like this one (and without the gigantic Elton Glasses) where your beauty and glow shine through!
ReplyDelete@ Camille Acey - that's so funny you say that. Everyone has their own style preferences. I don't know how I would describe my style, with the exception that I know that I like to go for a little bit of pizzaz. Sometimes I am "adventurous", and go for full out PIZZAZ, and Tuesday's post surely did that! I appreciate the feedback :)
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for the Stylish Blogger Award. Read my post for the information!
ReplyDeleteYou look really nice in this look. To comment on what Camille said, I think the glasses overwhelm your face. I know vintage glasses are on trend right now and I dig the look. But I think the problem is that particular pair, maybe try something a bit smaller. I also like the twisted updo, must have missed when you did it. Haven't been here in a while. All the best as you continue on this journey. Thanks for sharing it with us. Blessings!
